The Bedroom Org That Could
In spring 2023, a few kids (and one old man) joined a mid-elo Valorant team that belonged to an org that was growing too fast for its own good. They liked playing together, and figured they'd have their fun for a few months and eventually disband like these teams always do.
But a few months came, and that didn't happen. The spark never left, the team kept winning and growing, as individual players and as people. Soon a couple of them had earned college scholarship offers for their esports performance. After a while they thought, "how far this can go?"
We've been finding the answer to that question ever since.
At EVX we try to find a better way to do amateur esports. Stability, support and camaraderie are so important to the growth of competitors of all ages. There's just not enough of that in the T3-and-under levels of esports, and we don't think it has to be that way.
If you're a competitor at that level and want to get involved, a friend or fan of any of our players, or just think our brand slaps (it does), hit us up on any of our socials or via email (teamevictix@gmail.com). Let's keep building a better amateur scene.
